Reno Rodeo rides again...

6/23/2018

The 99th Reno Rodeo kicks off in grand fashion with leather boots, cowboy hats, and leather chaps. A gathering of professional cowboys and cowgirls all looking to beat the best of the best and take home some cash and prizes. Reno's rodeo is a family friendly event with food, folks and fun! A full carnival with rides and a great variety of fried food on a stick. Of course the main attraction takes place in the arena. Girls with flags, give way to bucking broncs, barrel racing horses, rank bulls and cheers from the crowds. It was a star spangled event with so many people celebrating this unique American tradition that brings us together as one community.

Nothing beats a good ole fashion rodeo.  Love of country combined with great action and sportsmanship is something we all can appreciate. God bless America.

The Flying U provides some of the best animal athletes in rodeo. The broncs were wild and mean and gave every cowboy the ride of their lives.

D&D Barrel Racing has lost its voice...

9/2/2017

Jim Wahlenmaier, the voice of D&D Barrel Productions has passed away leaving us with so many memories of good times that we will cherish forever.
Its difficult saying good-bye to someone who leaves us with so many great memories and its with great sadness that we make this post today.
Picture
We feel so lucky to have known Jim, and to have had the opportunity to work with such a genuine person. All the good times we shared will fill us with happiness and his ability to make us smile will continue to effect us for the rest of our lives. Through the sadness we will try to hold on to the joy he gave to us all and celebrate the life of a good friend.
To the Wahlenmaier family, we offer our condolences and will keep y'all in our prayers. We also send our condolences to the D&D family because we are all family and this loss effects so many.
Good-bye Jim, thank you for being such a great friend to us. Sleep in peace until we all meet again. <3

Do it for Tooter...

7/10/2017

In a Texas heat wave, Carissa Bryant wins the 1D at the Summer Blow-Out held this weekend at M7 Arena in Alvarado. Carissa and her horse O’Joe were in a hurry and blazed an unbeatable time of 16:3 to cash in and win. For Carissa, the victory is bitter sweet and a loving tribute to her mother Tooter who was seriously hurt in a spill last month in Fairfield Texas. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Bryant family for a full recovery. Get well Tooter! #tooterstrong

M7 is the great race place when the weather co-operates. This weekend the weather was so hot, “The Summer Blow-Out” should have been named “The Summer Melt-Down.” As usual we are always thankful to be a part of the M7 family and look forward to seeing everybody again real soon.
