In spite of the pending storm, Denise Rowe and her horse put on a spectacular exhibition of strength and grace which was captured by Imagehounds Photography. Even when it rains, we'll make you shine. As the Lonestar Little Britches Rodeo series came to a finish, Imagehounds Photography was there to capture the action.
The young riders performed like old pros in events that included barrel racing, pole racing, goat and calf tying, individual and team roping. Congratulations to all the amazing young riders who participated during this season. And, to all the riders who won the opportunity to continue on to the finals in Colorado we wish you the best of luck in your pursuit of personal glory. Remember to visit our Event Gallery to view your photographs! Focused on Haley Thorne and Brooks Open Gold in a race to the finish on Friday night at Lonestar Park. Brooks Open Gold (fondly called "Steel" by Haley) was originally purchased to be used as a barrel horse can't seem to stay away from the track. 
"Steel" finishing strong in the stretch run at Lonestar. He will probably see the track again in a couple weeks after finishing fourth in this Maiden Special Weight contest.

 The competition heated up at the M7 arena as the sun went down and the lights came on.
Thursday night was the finale for the M7 Buckle and trailer series. When the dust settled, it was Jennifer Hughes who walked away with a beautiful 2 horse bumper pull. Although rodeo brings out the fierce competitor in every rider, the spirit of friendly competition is alive and well at District 7 playdays in Burleson Texas.
