The youth of North Texas saddled up this weekend for another year of competition at M7 Arena in Alvarado as they kicked off their 2017 rodeo season. The two day event included hundreds of young riders focused on developing their talents and skills that will lead them towards their hopes and dreams of becoming the rodeo stars of tomorrow. Although the competition and backles are important, the lessons taught in and out of the arena are what makes these young cowboys and girls winners in life. Dicipline, determination, getting up when you fall, serve as a foundation for becoming successful adults no matter what path they take in the future. Hosted by Todd and Lori Massey, the M7 YRA prides itself on promoting the sport of rodeo with a strong sense of family values, community and friendly competition. Although youth rodeos exist throughout many states in America, M7 is special to those who attend because of the leadership provided by Todd, the judges and staff that encourage and support each rider, win or lose. With Christmas fast approaching, M7 also collected toys and gifts for families of Johnson County as thier tradition of giving back to the surrounding community. And the day wouldn't have been complete without a visit from St. Nicolas himself who stopped by on his busy world tour to hear the wishes of every child. I'm certain there were requests for new horses, boots, hats, and toys, but nothing can beat the blessings of health, peace and happiness shared by everybody who stands together with faith in God above. As your official photographers, Imagehounds is thankful for our staff, Alisson Carmona, Jessica Fulford, Rachelle Barta, and Alex Hal. Our success is the result of a concerted effort to be great. We are also thankful for the blessings of being a part of the rodeo community and for our many friends who have become family. We recognize how lucky we are to do what we love and we wish each and every one of you a Merry Christmas and a Happy new year! NOW AVAILABLE FOR CHRISTMAS

Imagehounds would like to share a gallery of photos for our very own #flashbackfriday. This gallery of images was taken earlier this year at the Holybee arena in Burleson Texas, during a District 7 Playday. It features a day of pole bending with some of our favorite riders and horses. Its always a treat to uncover memorable photographs, so please take advantage of this opportunity to look down memory lane and get some great photos of yourself and friends. Click here to visit the Event Gallery and buy your photos today! Our pic of the day comes to us from District 7 just before the event was cancelled due to inclement weather. In spite of the pending storm, Denise Rowe and her horse put on a spectacular exhibition of strength and grace which was captured by Imagehounds Photography. Even when it rains, we'll make you shine. Remember to visit our Event Gallery to view your photographs! |
