Good, old fashioned, family fun is at the heart of rodeo and the Mcleod sisters, Lindsey and Katelyn shared a minute to show us that the Mcleod's are family strong and a lot of fun. These girls are great competitors but admit that they don't have a family rivalry, instead they support one another in the arena as they push for each other and root for "Team Mcleod." As much fun as it is to win, these girls understand that its more fun to have fun. Lindsey is finished with high school is excited to ride in college as she pursues a major in bio-chemistry and eventually become an anesthesiologist after finishing her education at Texas A&M. Katelyn, on the other hand is finishing her fourth year at Southeastern Oklahoma State University and has plans to tour with mom on the professional rodeo tour.
The biggest surprise came when they told us all that their favorite pizza was "Cheese!" What? I know, I couldn't believe it either. But, it goes to show that you don't need everything when you've already got it all. Of course the girls couldn't leave us without sharing that imagehounds are their favorite photographers. That goes without saying, but was nice of them to say it.  Callie Davenport races for glory at M7 in the Mix-It-Up event this last weekend. Diamond W and M7 arenas were hosts to a scorching hot barrel race this past weekend in Alvarado Texas.
Barrel racers from all over Texas showed up to race for glory in Alvarado. Young Callie Davenport proved to everybody that nobody races the pattern faster than her by winning both day's events and the overall average. It was an exciting event to photograph! Brett Ranger and Rope having a ton of fun at the Rockin' Round-Up Some of the best barrel racers came out last Friday for the third annual Rockin' Roundup held at the Hopper Ranch in Aubrey, Texas.
The barrel race was the featured event at this annual fundraiser for Health Services of North Texas. Our photo of the day shows Brett Ranger, who said, "It was a ton of fun" as he and his horse Rope finished second in the 4D. This annual event also included music, dancing, barbeque and is something to look forward to every year. Our cameras were on scene to capture all of the action as it happened. It was a picture perfect weekend in Los Angeles as California Dressage Society held their two day summer event of elegance and skill.

This little wrangler Alexandra Todd shows everybody how its done with some impressive riding skills. Alexandra and her horse are a perfect fit and fun to watch as they tear up the barrel pattern and race for home.
